It was the break of dawn when Rocky left the Laney Pavilion after making love the whole night with her. But as soon as he set foot out of the pavilion, he felt the presence of a person who seemed to be waiting for him nearby. "Then why don't you thank me for sparing her life? If I didn't do that, then you would lose a capable subordinate," Rocky said teasingly as he looked at Alyssa.

"I have always treated her as my sister. I just didn't expect that something this heinous would happen to her because of me. But last night, she seemed to be..." Alyssa clenched her fists as she tried to hold back her anger. However, she felt that something was odd about the incident. Last night, she saw with her own eyes how Laney treated Rocky. From her perspective, Laney didn't look like a woman whose virginity had been snatched away from her when facing the culprit.
