CHARLOTTE...

I wanted to push her back from me immediately but I did not make an impatient move.

Gritting my teeth I took it slower because I have more in my plates just for her. After a few seconds of hugging and she finally, let me go.

"Remember my words okay?" Alice said. "And don't be sad."

I nodded in silence. Of course, I do remember everything. Not only your words but your every action, Alice. And that shit makes me angry more than sad, thinking about what these siblings did to me.

Putting a smile on my face, I shook my head.

"Even though I felt a little sad and guilty at the same time for not having any wolf, I don't completely regret it," I said, looking at her.

She seemed surprised. "You don't?"

"Uhu. I don't. When I never had it, how would I be sad about it? Yes, all the people around me have it. But, it's okay." I pretended not to be affected by the 'no wolf' thingy.

"Moreover, Augustus really doesn't care if I have any wolf or not. By his possession, he only loves me and wants me anyways." I watched her jealous pricked face at the corner of my eyes and continued, "for two years he never really let go of me and I don't think he will ever. He loves me too much for that matter and he doesn't even bother to glance at the women who ate always kissing his feet."

The way her gaze boring to me, if gaze could burn, I would have turned into ashes by now. Well, I am not done yet.

I traced the marks he put on me with my fingers slowly. "This mark always says of his possession and the way he always takes me."

I turned to look at her. She is fuming now. She doesn't know but I can see jealousy and anger written all over her expression.

However, once again I pretend to act innocent as I mastered up some concern in my expression.

"Alice... Are you okay? You seem, flustered. Not feeling well?"

My words stiffened her as she immediately cleared her throat and patted her face. Surely, cursing me inside her heart.

Immediately, she shook her head. "No, no. It's nothing, I am fine..." She suddenly stood up. "Oh Charlotte, I suddenly remember of something important to do. I am leaving now but will meet you soon."

"Oh..."  I faked sadness and nodded weakly. "Okay, see you later."

She turned around but then again, her gaze fell on mine. More specifically, on the marks on my body.

"Stay away from Augustus." Her tone was hard, struggling to suppress her anger.

"Oh!" I raised my brows, acting surprised.

She blinked, realising her mistake she immediately smiled, "just try, so that he doesn't wary you much. After all, Adrian won't like to hear this much." Saying she left the room without looking back.

If I am not wrong, she is going to meet her brother and plan something vicious against me.

Well, fuck you Milanos. I don't give a fucking danm!

ALICE...

I rushed out of the mansion and only stopped entering into the middle of the dark forest. My head is filled with her spoken words.

I was sure a few more days and he would be forced to let her go. And then we would kill her but... She started acting weird for a few days. Especially, after giving her virginity to him that night.

Her words... Her actions... Her gazes... Everything turned so different from before. It felt something has changed between them but I can't really catch what it is.

She seems to be getting weak on Augustus. The way she refused Adrian that day and kicked him out. Then meeting him in his office.

I shook my head. No, no...

No! If she gets weak on him and starts responding to his gesture toward her, my all plans and dreams would take the closet!

Moreover, her behaviour...

They seemed a little stiff toward me. Her suddenly goes weak over Augustus and being indifferent toward Adrian doesn't seem a good move. Is it only because of the sex that happened between them?

Is it the late bond? Or, maybe she started to realise the truth? Of me and Adrian's?

I shook my head again, forcing the thoughts out of me. But, I can't let it slide. Charlotte might not be smart to know what we ate planning, but what is she doing?

I should do something immediately. I should find Adrian and discuss this matter. No matter what, we need to make an important decision about this growing problem.

Soon, I ran out of the dark forest and entered my car to visit Adrian in his office.

Charlotte needs to go away from our way as soon as possible...
