Augustus finally thought it through. Even though he can't let go of Charlotte, he stopped forcing his decision on her and his fierce actions against her.
Charlotte felt it too. She felt a little comfortable and the relationship between them eased for a little while. Still living in the same mansion, she ignores him most of the time, trying to find her inner peace.
And a few days later, Warrenda finally came to meet Charlotte. She was out for her wizardry training and missed lots of parts that happened to Charlotte.
And Charlotte happily shared with Warrenda everything. Even Lucinda joined them.
Currently, three of them are sitting in the Gazebo in the backyard and hearing about Warrenda's training. Though she is not sanctioned to tell all the details, she told as much as she could.
"And that's it now. If everything is alright, I will next start my training with Mother to earn her position of the Lady of the coven." Warrenda dropped her coffee cup and leaned on the seat proudly.
Charlotte suddenly recalled Sierra's words. Didn't she ask her to talk to Lady Dahlia? After that day, Sierra did not come for once and kept Charlotte blocked.
From Lucinda's wolf, she heard that Sierra is upset about the fact that Charlotte wanted to tear the mateship.
"Charlotte? Is everything alright?" Warrenda noticed her friend's absentminded mood and frowned.
Charlotte licked wet her lower lip and pursed her lips before turning her gaze to Warrenda.
"Umm... Warrenda, can I ask something from you?" Charlotte felt hesitant to ask that, not knowing how she would take it.
"Yeah, of course. Go ahead. Why this formality?"
"Warrenda, I want to meet your mother, Lady Dahlia. Is that possible? There is something that I want to know from her." Charlotte fidgeted with her fingers.
Warrenda blinked first and then settled on her seat seriously. "My mother?" Her frown deepened. "Of course, I can try. Let me ask for mother's permission first, okay? I will let you know tomorrow."
Charlotte nodded. "I will wait for your answer."
**********
The next day, as promised, Warrenda came to meet Charlotte and informed her that her mother has agreed to meet her.
Charlotte felt at ease in her heart and got ready to meet Lady Dahlia. She took Lucinda with her and after informing Augustus that she is just going out with her friends, she left the mansion.
Augustus only nodded. He did not stop her or asked any questions. Because he does not want to hurt her in any way that would provoke her once again to leave him.
Soon, they reached the same place in the dark forest, where Warrenda saved them.
Warrenda then take them to the darkest part of the forest and stopped before a huge stone gate.
Lucinda gasped at the shining stone as she followed Warrenda. Charlotte was surprised too, yet she suppressed it.
Warrenda turned to her friends. "Now, both of you, hold my both hands." Saying she turned around and both Charlotte and Lucinda stepped beside her sides.
"Remember one thing, guys," Warrenda spoke. "Time runs faster in the witch realm."
"What does that mean?" Charlotte turned to Warrenda in a daze.
"It means, we have a huge gap between our time zones. It's like, a week here and a month in the wizardry realm." Warrenda explained and both Charlotte and Lucinda gasped.
Warrenda lead the path as she walked passed the birds and the pink River. She passed a few little girls, that are playing and finally stopped before a white wall.
Both girls were following her while mesmerised by the beauty of the coven and finally stopped behind Warrenda before a plain white wall.
Charlotte frowned. "What is this?"
Warrenda turned to them and spoke, "I am sorry, Lucinda. But, you can't go inside. Because only the person who wants to ask the question can go in."
"But don't worry..." She clapped and two girls in a white dress appeared there with smiles on the face. "This is Flora and Daisy. They will company you till Charlotte talked to Mother."
Lucinda turned to her Luna and Charlotte nodded her head. She is a bit nervous and did not want to let Lucinda go. Yet, she can not disrespect the rules of the coven and nodded at her silently and watched her leave with those girls.
"Now, hold my hand and close your eyes." Warrenda stretched her hands to her and Charlotte followed.
Warrenda closed her eyes and chanted a spell. Suddenly, Charlotte felt a magnetic pull for a second and then everything turned normal.
"Open your eyes now." Hse heard her friend and opened her eyes only to gasp mentally.
Charlotte finds herself standing in a white room with a desk in a corner, occupied by a woman in a white dress.
The woman is middle-aged and resembles the older version of Warrenda.
Lady Dahlia stood up from her seat and nodded a little, "Welcome to the coven, Luna Queen Charlotte Leighton." She greeted her.
