After arriving home, Hayden sat quietly on the couch.

Serena and James were bustling about in the kitchen. Though they appeared to be occupied with cooking, they were, in reality, looking at each other nonstop, as if they were communicating.

They eventually stopped what they were doing and slowly walked out of the kitchen.

They both felt uneasy about Hayden's behavior, and they were certain that something had happened to Hayden.

Hayden didn't react like this even when he was expelled from school yesterday!

"Tell me, Hayden. What exactly happened?" Serena had a grave look on her face as she sat next to Hayden.

"Yeah, Hayden. We're your strongest support. We don't want you to suffer alone, so go ahead and tell us!" James spoke up as well.

Sadly, Hayden only wished to bear this burden on his own as he didn't want them to worry about him.

He would rather face the cold familial ties and heartless deeds of the Sterlings alone.

"It's okay. I'm fine, really. I got expelled from school, and I can't go to university anymore, so I was wondering what else I can do. There are many opportunities in the economic market right now, so there are lots of things I can do. I'm just having trouble picking one!" Hayden smiled as he explained, trying to pull the wool over their eyes.

"It's okay. Even if you're expelled, you still have perfect scores in two subjects. Brighton University will definitely notice you! Other prestigious universities will come knocking, too. You'll shine no matter where you go!

"Sure, you got expelled, but the results you achieved will last forever. You'll definitely get into a university" James comforted Hayden as he patted the latter on the shoulder.

It was obvious that he had a decent understanding of Hayden's current situation.

"No, I'm not going to university. I don't want to go to university anymore." Hayden shook his head as a bitter smile appeared on his lips.

"You have to! We're still waiting for the Brighton University representative to visit us!" Serena wouldn't have any of it and quickly refuted Hayden's words.
