"Alright. Come over and give it a try then," David said casually, waving his hand to signal him to come forward.
Hayden acknowledged the request and stood up before walking to the front of the crowd.
"Make him a copy of the exact same question," David ordered Victor.
"Alright," Victor replied, quickly writing out another copy of the problem.
Once he was done, he handed it to Hayden. When he looked up at Hayden briefly, a flicker of guilt could be seen in that glance.
Back then, under pressure from the Sterling family, Victor had swapped Hayden's acceptance into Brighton. Now, here he was again, standing before Hayden. At that moment, Victor felt a pang of regret.
If this question were solved, it might expose everything.
Hayden accepted the paper and sat down calmly. He cast a brief, meaningful glance at Morgan.
Morgan looked back at him, their gazes locking for a moment. Both seemed to understand the other's thoughts.
Hayden let out a mocking laugh, then lowered his head and began solving the problem.
Meanwhile, Morgan wiped the sweat from his face, his hand trembling as he held his pen. He knew full well that he couldn't solve this challenging question.
The soft sound of a pen scratching paper filled the air as Hayden wrote. It was the only sound that could be heard in the entire hall.
All eyes were now on Hayden.
Who would have thought that the young man was truly working on the problem—and with such composure and confidence!
Everyone froze, stunned, their gazes transfixed.
