Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 184

"I've raised my son, Hayden, since he was a child. I know that he's kind-hearted. He gets competitive sometimes, but he's always bullied by others.

"Even when he was taken away by his biological parents and tortured in every possible way, he never resisted. How could such a child have poor character?" Serena shouted. She was filled with anger.

"My son is not at fault. His classmates can even testify to prove his character. On the contrary, what kind of good morals can a family that would snatch someone else's college admission have? Their words are just nonsense!" James said coldly, his tone imposing.

These words immediately infuriated the Sterling family members.

One by one, their expressions turned dark, and they glared angrily at James' family.

"You're being presumptuous! Who do you think you are, to deserve to be here? Stop telling Mr. Schnapp such nonsense! Why would he believe your words? With your lowly status, you shouldn't even be at my party. Get out of here immediately!" Francis shouted.

But why would James and Serena listen to him?

The two of them stood in place quietly, their sharp gazes fixed on Francis.

"Back then, when the Sterling family took Hayden in, I agreed. But I'll never forgive you for mistreating him!" James shouted.

"The Sterling family took Hayden? What is this about?" David interjected, looking at Francis.

"It's nothing. I just took him back to work for the Sterling family!" Francis immediately replied. He was afraid that more people would know the truth.

Hayden was a part of the Sterling family's bloodline, but they had suppressed this matter for years, as they were afraid of being ridiculed. How could someone like him deserve to be a member of the Sterling family?

David snorted coldly and then said casually, "If you're questioning Hayden's character, then why didn't you ask his classmates and teachers?"

"That's because…" Francis gritted his teeth, but he couldn't find an appropriate response.

The entire hall fell silent once again. Everyone realized that Hayden's character might not be as bad as the Sterling family had described.

"This matter is now clear. Hayden will continue to study at Brighton University!" David said, making the final judgement with a serious expression.
