Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 189

"Let me go! Are you trying to get killed? Fuck off!" Morgan shouted, cursing loudly as he struggled to free himself from Hayden's grip.

This scene left both sets of parents frozen in confusion.

What was going on? Since when did Hayden and Morgan get along so well?

They had always been like mortal enemies. Even earlier in the hotel, tensions were running high.

Because of the qualification for admission to Brighton University, Morgan had been humiliated in front of everyone. But now, Morgan was clinging to Hayden like he couldn't bear to part with him.

Hayden was even more absurd. Morgan had actually stolen his qualification for admission to Brighton University. But now, he was intentionally hugging Morgan so tightly.

Was this real?

Everyone focused their attention on the two of them. No one noticed that, not far away, the speeding truck barreled closer and closer.

Hayden was still holding on to Morgan tightly, immovable like a stone.

But Morgan reacted strongly, jumping up and down. Tears welled up in his eyes as terror overtook him.

"Let me go! I don't want to die yet! Get away from me!" Morgan screamed, his face pale.

His eyes widened when he saw the truck that was just a few seconds away from crushing him.

"My dear Morgan, what's all this talk about death? I can't bear to let you go. You should stay with me a bit longer! I'll even help you with your schoolwork since you want to go to college so badly," Hayden said, grinning widely. He sounded extremely excited.

The more Morgan struggled, the more delighted Hayden seemed.

Hayden wanted to scare that bastard, Morgan, out of his wits.

"Are you insane? Get away from me now! The only one who is going to die is you! Get off me! Just die on your own!" Morgan roared loudly.

He was filled with despair. He never imagined that Hayden would act like this.

This was now going to cost his life.

It would've been fine if he had just left Hayden and let that driver hit him. But now, he had become the scapegoat.
