Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 22

"That guy looks too young. He's probably still in school, right?"

"Who knows? Maybe he's doing some research for homework."

"Our judgment is always spot on. We can already tell that he's not going to sign anything. Only that newbie will entertain him."

The sales team laughed and joked around while dismissing Hayden entirely. They were convinced that he wouldn't buy a house.

At that moment, Hayden's attention was fixed on the eight buildings facing the street in the model display.

He could have chosen a better location in other buildings, even if those floors came at a slightly higher price.

However, he wasn't buying to live there. It was an investment. Purchasing an entire building was much more convenient.

If it weren't for his limited funds, he would have bought even more.

Hayden completed the paperwork, but the name on the property wasn't his. It was either Serena's or Jenny's.

After all, a single person's assets were easily traceable. Hayden didn't want anyone, especially the Sterlings, to know about his real estate investments.

This way, he could also prepare some additional investments for his foster family. With these assets, he could help ensure that they all enjoyed a better life in the future.

Melanie saw the names on the documents but didn't pry. She wanted to avoid upsetting the customer.

Soon, it was time to make the payment.

Hayden directly transferred 70 million dollars. This amount covered the property and other associated fees.

When the notification of a successful payment chimed, the entire real estate office fell into a stunned silence.

A wave of shocked glances shot toward Hayden. All the sales staff stood there, wide-eyed and staring at him in disbelief.

A palpable shock hung in the air, and their expressions grew increasingly ugly.

Did he really just buy all that?
