Hayden then went to a real estate office.
A young saleswoman, who looked slightly inexperienced, quickly approached him. Her name was Melanie Cobb, and she had just graduated from college.
She looked Hayden up and down, feeling a bit uncertain. It seemed like she was just a few years older than him.
"Excuse me, are you here to buy a house?" Melanie asked curiously, not entirely confident.
After all, she had never seen such a young customer in the office.
The other salespeople glanced at Hayden but didn't bother approaching him. Only Melanie, being new and eager to hit her sales targets, decided to take the chance.
"Yeah." Hayden nodded.
Based on his memories, this development would eventually have the highest property values in the entire city.
Right now, the price was around 100 thousand dollars.
Soon, though, a new development zone in the area would be established, causing property prices to skyrocket.
The area would also have a top-tier hospital, a prestigious middle school, a high school, and even corporate headquarters. It was destined to become a mini economic hub, and the property prices would eventually reach astronomical levels.
The specific development project Hayden had his eyes on was in the center, and its prices would soar tenfold. Each apartment would be worth millions.
Most importantly, the demand would outstrip supply, making it nearly impossible to find a unit on the market.
Melanie then started introducing Hayden to the project.
But within just a few minutes, Hayden pointed to the southernmost building. "No need to say more. I'll buy that!" His eyes were sharp and focused.
The unit he selected was 1400 square feet, with three bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. It was perfect for families or tenants.
It was street-facing, with no obstructions, and had great natural lighting. It was the most sought-after unit during that time.
"Alright, sir. Which floor would you like? I'll grab the keys and show you around," Melanie said eagerly. She was hopeful.
"No, not yet. Are you sure you want them?" Melanie cautiously confirmed again.
"I'm sure." Hayden's expression remained unchanged as he nodded.
"I'll get the contract right away!" Melanie exclaimed with excitement and quickly ran off. She eagerly searched for the paperwork.
Her colleagues, who had been browsing their phones, looked at her in confusion.
"What's got you in such a rush?" one of them asked with a disdainful expression.
"She's probably excited over making a sale. It's just one deal, and she's already over the moon," another colleague mocked.
Ignoring them, Melanie clutched a stack of documents as she hurried back. She felt a surge of joy inside and was too excited to speak.
Just one deal? This one deal was for an entire block of building!
She had already exceeded her annual sales target with this single transaction.
