"Mr. Summers, what's the status of that gem? Was it auctioned off or sold privately?" Hayden asked urgently.

"No, it's still here. I am planning to auction it off within the timeframe you gave!" Quentin responded, slightly puzzled.

"Alright. I got it." Hayden ended the call, his brows furrowed. Since the auction house still had the gem, the Sterling family couldn't have gotten it.

Hayden's eyes widened with realization, his pupils gleaming with intensity. Could someone from the Sterling family have stolen the gem from his house?
