Hayden glared at Lily and Morgan with a fierce expression.

He couldn't put up with the Sterling family members' threats or let them jeopardize Christina's safety. So, he had no choice but to agree for now.

"Sure. Since you've agreed, that's fine."

Upon seeing the situation, Lily breathed a sigh of relief and left with Morgan.

Hayden couldn't help but frown at their retreating figures. They had agreed too quickly, and Hayden was disgusted by their attitude. He even wondered if they still had other schemes in mind.

"Are you okay? Do you really have to go?" Christina asked.

"I have to go to make them give up," Hayden said coldly, looking grim.

He knew very well that he had to settle things with them. Otherwise, they would keep looking for him. He felt disgusted.

"What's your relationship with the Sterling family? Are you guys family?" Christina asked curiously. Her eyes widened as she stared at Hayden.

Hayden didn't want to hide the truth from her, so he nodded and said, "Yes."

When Christina got the response she needed, her expression changed. She was dumbfounded.

"But Lily told me to set you up. What kind of family is that? How could she do that?" Christina asked, looking at Hayden helplessly.

She remembered clearly that she had met Hayden because of Lily. Now, Hayden was telling her that they were family. It was mind-blowing.
