Just thinking about it now made Lily feel upset.
"Lily, how about I figure out something to help you get back at her?"
Morgan cocked an eyebrow and suddenly became intrigued. He even looked forward to getting closer to Christina so that he could talk to her.
After all, the thought of Christina dressed in a medieval gown sparked his interest.
"Forget about it. Didn't you see how protective Hayden was of her? It's best to leave him alone for now. Let's go back first and tell Dad the news, then see how he deals with it. We'll deal with Hayden once he arrives tonight," Lily said calmly.
She didn't want to cause any trouble for Christina because she feared Hayden might do something drastic. After all, he had mentioned that he would use a knife.
"Alright then." Morgan sounded disappointed.
However, the thought lingered in his mind. He even started to feel possessive of Christina.
Soon, they arrived at the Sterling residence and told Francis and the others about the news.
"Great! I knew he'd definitely come back. He no longer has any leverage to use against us, so he'll seize the chance to return to the Sterling family."
Francis sneered and smiled smugly. It seemed like everything was under his control.
However, Hayden's response left Charlotte and the others stunned.
"He agreed?"
The three of them were surprised by the result.
It was obvious that Hayden despised the Sterling family. When the three of them had gone to persuade him, he didn't show any deference.
Why were things different after Lily and Morgan had gone to meet him? Could it be that Hayden really wanted to return?
