"My company may be small now and have limited assets, but it holds boundless potential in the social influencer industry. In fact, its influence has already spread throughout Stonybrook. Isn't that why you're envious?" Hayden's sharp words pierced through their pretense, exposing their true motives.
Otherwise, why would the Sterling family repeatedly try to approach him and insist on managing this company? Was it out of genuine goodwill? Of course not.
"What nonsense are you spouting? Do you really think we care about your company? We just want you to return to the Sterling family. Your words truly hurt us!" Lily shouted angrily.
Her body was trembling, and her chest was heaving with emotion.
She was normally calm, but somehow, she would get worked up every time she saw Hayden. She found all his actions utterly revolting.
"Lily, don't get upset. It's bad for your health. Hayden must have his concerns—perhaps he still doesn't trust us," Morgan immediately seized the moment, moving to Lily's side and gently consoling her.
Then, he turned to Hayden and spoke with a look of helplessness, "Hayden, please don't misunderstand. We have no ulterior motives. Everything we're doing is for your own good, which is why we decided to help manage your company!
"Moreover, we sincerely hope you can return to the family. That's the most important thing!"
His tone was sincere, as though he were speaking from the heart.
Even Charlotte and the others couldn't help but feel moved. Had they not known Morgan's true nature, they might have been swayed by his words.
"From the moment I left the Sterling family, I already said we were done. You're the ones who thought it was a misunderstanding, acting as though I'm still part of your family, and constantly pestering me!
"Let me say it again. We have nothing to do with each other. We've gone our separate ways! Stop contacting me from now on, and don't try to associate with me again.
