Hayden looked at the steaming bowl of soup, and his heart was full of joy.
He quickly went over and ate heartily.
This made Jenny a little jealous. However, she still wanted to tease Hayden a bit more.
"Mom, when Hayden came back just now, I saw him making a phone call. He must have encountered something happy because he was smiling so sweetly. Isn't that right, Hayden?" Jenny asked, thinking that this was her last chance.
It all depended on Hayden now.
"It's nothing. It's just some things at work. Some... interesting things," Hayden explained in a flat tone.
He felt very satisfied after scooping a big mouthful of soup in his mouth.
"It's good to be happy at work. The most important thing is to enjoy what you do," Serena said with a smile.
"Yes. Being happy is definitely important. It's good for your physical and mental health!" James, who was sitting on the couch watching TV, echoed.
"Hmph!" Jenny was very dissatisfied when she saw Hayden brushed the topic off so easily. She simply wanted to win, so she shouted righteously, "Hayden is so happy because he is in love! If it's work, it's probably the woman who works with him!
"He must be flirting with that woman! This kind of premature romance must be stopped and must not be allowed to develop!"
She didn't want her brother to be deceived by that woman. In her eyes, her brother should be focusing on more important things, not falling in love at this stage.
"You silly girl, what do you know, don't talk nonsense! Hayden's an adult. Just leave him be," Serena smiled and said.
She was already very happy in her heart.
