Meanwhile, Hayden was busy working in his office when suddenly, Christina burst in, her face pale with anxiety. She held out her phone to him without saying a word.
"What's going on?" Hayden asked.
"Just watch this video first." Christina didn't explain, but the unease was clear in her every gesture.
Hayden could tell that something was wrong by the way she was acting. His concern deepened.
Had something terrible happened?
Without asking any further questions, he took the phone from her and started watching the video.
"This is…" His voice trailed off as his eyes widened in shock.
On the screen, Jenny stood out among a crowd of women, looking small and vulnerable. Her face was filled with distress as people snapped pictures of her, laughing and mocking her openly.
Harsh voices filled the air, cruel and mocking.
"Hahaha! So, this is the younger sister of Christina's company's boss. She's here looking for a job!"
"How unbelievable! I never thought I'd meet someone this important!"
"If she's coming here to interview, then it looks like Christina's company is going under."
"Mr. Morgan is such a nice guy. He's already agreed to hire you. We'll be coworkers from now on, so let's get along! Smile for the camera!"
The mocking words made Jenny seem like nothing more than a pitiful victim, bullied and humiliated. Her eyes were red, her head was lowered in shame, and her face was tense with anxiety.
She tried desperately to find an exit, but the crowd around her blocked her way. After struggling for a while, Jenny finally managed to flee, her figure growing smaller as the video ended.
