As expected, Jenny's phone was turned off.
"I'm going to find her!"
Hayden rushed out the next second. He couldn't let anything happen to Jenny.
He quickly ran through a list of places where she might be. Eventually, he decided on one—home. He hurried back to the house, heading straight for her bedroom, but when he got there, she wasn't inside.
Panic set in immediately.
How could Jenny not be here? Where else could she have gone, if she hadn't come home when she was upset?
Frowning deeply, Hayden pushed aside any other thoughts and left to search for her. He walked along the road outside the neighborhood, checking the places where he and Jenny had spent time together, hoping to spot her.
He kept thinking she couldn't have gone too far, but after searching for what felt like forever, there was still no sign of her.
…
Meanwhile, in a high-rise building, James' phone buzzed with a new message. His brows furrowed as he read it.
"What's wrong?" Serena asked, sensing that something was off.
"Our daughter… she's been bullied," James replied, explaining the situation as he showed her the message.
Jenny's video had gone viral online, largely thanks to Morgan buying the trending topics to ensure that more people saw it.
Naturally, James' team had picked up on the news.
"That girl… Why wasn't she at home? Why did she go to the Sterling family's company?" Serena sighed in frustration.
"I'm not sure. Maybe she went to apply for a job there, and things just got out of hand," James speculated.
