Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 63

"Hayden, you did really well on the mock exams this time, especially in math—you got full marks!" His homeroom teacher, Sylvia, was very excited and smiled in delight.

She remembered how she had thought of reprimanding Hayden for always ignoring the teachers when reading his books back then but decided against it after some thought.

Luckily, she hadn't stopped him back then, or she might not have gotten a chance to witness this particular moment!

"I've received full marks? What's wrong with it, then?" Hayden asked, puzzled.

"Hayden, you're the first in the entire province to score full marks on the math exams. So, why do you think I called you here?" Sylvia's tone grew even more mysterious.

Upon hearing that, Hayden thought about it carefully. It seemed unlikely that the overall scores would be released this quickly.

So, a plausible reason could be that the math exams were especially difficult this time, and that he had drawn some attention because he scored full marks in it.

"Could it be that… Brighton University noticed my perfect score and wants to offer me an early admission?" Hayden raised an eyebrow, making a wild guess.

Every single one of the teachers in the room froze and exchanged looks of surprise. Their faces were donned with sheer astonishment, as if they had heard something truly unbelievable.

Seeing their expressions, Hayden laughed it off awkwardly and quickly added, "Sorry, I was simply making a guess."

Then, the teachers chuckled along with him.

"You've got quite the imagination! The scores aren't out yet, but your math score alone has already shocked the entire province. Many of the top universities have reached out to offer you a guaranteed spot.

"Now, hurry up and get your parents here so we can discuss which school you want to attend. We need to give them an answer." Finally, Sylvia revealed why they had really called for him.
