Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 70

"What? How could it be him?" Morgan's eyes widened in utter disbelief.

It felt like a dream—an impossible one.

His face shifted between shock and confusion, as if he'd just heard the most absurd joke in the world. How could it be true?

Hayden had always been an average student, so how could he have scored a perfect score in math?

How did he become so smart all of a sudden?

"And on top of that, Riverside High said nearly every top university offered him a spot. He has his pick of the top schools," Anna added, and her words shocked Morgan.

"His pick of the schools?" Morgan's heart raced, and his eyes trembled. He couldn't believe it. Was Hayden capable of something like this?

He had worked so hard and poured everything he had into his exams, hoping to secure a place at his dream university. Yet, the opportunity he had been fighting for was something Hayden could easily get.

A surge of jealousy and resentment burned within him, and it spread like wildfire.

"So what if he's gotten a perfect score? The results from the other subjects aren't even out yet. There's no way he can compare to you, Morgan. Don't worry about it," Lily said with a reassuring smile.

"Exactly. You're the best in my eyes, son. I'm sure your overall score will be much higher than his. He just got lucky this time," Francis said as he encouragingly patted Morgan's shoulder.

"No matter what, you'll always be the best in Mom's eyes," Charlotte added and smiled gently as she pulled Morgan into a warm embrace.

Their entire family gathered around Morgan to express their support, creating a harmonious scene.

However, Julia and Anna remained silent as they stood quietly to the side. They were still in disbelief that Hayden could score a perfect score in math—it seemed almost impossible.

Just then, news of the Sterling family's arrival had spread, and representatives from various schools rushed to curry favor again.

"Mr. Sterling, it's all clear now. We weren't lying to you," the principal, Vincent, said with a nervous smile, practically bowing as he explained.
