Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 83

James, Serena, and Jenny followed Hayden's lead as well, leaving Travis and the teachers of Riverside High dumbfounded and extremely mortified.

The truth was that one could have one's way when one attained incredible test scores.

Hayden suddenly stopped in his tracks when he passed by the Sterlings. However, he focused his gaze on Morgan and no one else.

"It's interesting how things developed, Morgan. Cherish what's left of your time in the school because I'm not coming back unless you apologize." Hayden chuckled coldly and left.

Morgan quivered with rage. He remained agitated as he watched Hayden's retreating figure. The last thing he had expected was for the latter to become this arrogant. Hayden was openly taunting him now.

All of a sudden, Morgan's gaze became sharp and sinister. He even gnashed his teeth so hard they were about to break.

"What did I do wrong, Mom? Why would Hayden do something like this?" Morgan instantly changed his attitude and gave Charlotte a pitiful look.

"You didn't, sweetheart. Don't beat yourself up over it." Charlotte gave Morgan a hug as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"If Hayden really wanted the admission slot, he can have it. Why does he have to bully me this way?" Morgan wept quietly, as if he was wronged.

"Don't cry. There, there. I'm going to beg Hayden again and ask him to return the admission slot to you." Charlotte comforted Morgan again, refusing to give up.

However, Travis and the teachers rolled their eyes collectively when they heard what she said. Was Charlotte really going to beg for the admission slot again? Why did she have to do this to herself?
