Back in Caldwell residence, James was wearing a big smile on his face. He was beyond excited. "You're just fantastic, Hayden. I can't believe you got two perfect scores. Thank God for blessing you!"

James looked at Hayden, feeling grateful, and the sorrow in his heart grew more intense by the second.

"What are you talking about? Hayden did it on his own—he deserved the success." Serena also had a brilliant smile on her face, and she held onto Hayden's hand, feeling reluctant to let go.

"Like I said before, Hayden has got this in the bag. Hmph. You ought to believe in my judgment now, Mom and Dad. I was right about Hayden." Jenny was walking on cloud nine. She pulled Hayden into a hug and leaned against his chest, not wanting to let go of him.

"That's enough. This is just a mock exam." Hayden pried Jenny's arm off and had his family sit on the couch.

"Anyway, what's the plan, Hayden? Are you really not going to school anymore?"

"That's right. You'll lose your guaranteed admission slot if you don't go. Moreover, you can't take the SAT anymore."

All of a sudden, James adopted a stern expression as he stared at Hayden solemnly. Serena also composed herself gradually and gave Hayden an earnest look. This was what they were all concerned about, after all.

"I meant it when I said I won't go, and I'm not going back on my words. I'll never forgive them for the way they treated me earlier. Unless someone apologizes to me, I'm not going to agree to it!" Hayden was firm, and his tone was resolute, which stunned his family.

Everyone in the office stepped over the line, and their actions were deplorable. It was baffling how they actually intended to give up Hayden's guaranteed admission for Morgan's sake. It was daylight robbery, and there was nothing right about it.

Now that the school staff were afraid, they wanted to make Hayden stay. James and the others could relate to what he was feeling.
