Paige recognized Nathalie's voice and immediately shouted in a panic, "Nathalie, you witch! What have you done to me?"
She tried to move, but being stuck in a plaster cast while completely naked left her feeling utterly helpless. Only her nostrils were free for air, and she couldn't help but feel trapped.
Nathalie chuckled, "Relax, Paige. I'm giving you a full-body beauty treatment. I just added a bit of plaster to the whitening cream. It's all good for you, but for now, you're stuck."
"You lunatic! Let me go!" Paige screamed.
Nathalie, unfazed, replied calmly, "Want your freedom back, Paige? You'll have to answer a few of my questions first. If you satisfy my curiosity, I'll set you free. If not, I might just add more plaster, block your nostrils, and turn you into a lovely sculpture."
"Nathalie, this is illegal imprisonment. Let me go..." Paige's voice trembled, turning into a desperate plea.
Nathalie continued, "Growing up, I was abused by my foster mother, always dancing on the edge of life and death. Do you think I wouldn't go to extremes, just like Nathan did against those powerful families?"
Paige was genuinely scared now. "Nathalie, don't do anything crazy. Let's talk it out. What do you want to know? I'll tell you everything."
"Good."
Nathalie paused, her voice taking on a haunting tone, "What happened to Nathan? How did he get those scars?"
Paige stayed silent for a while before weakly admitting, "His father beat him."
Nathalie's anger flared, "He was kidnapped and tormented, and instead of caring for him, you beat him? Why? What did he ever do wrong?"
Paige mumbled, "He... he had a strange temper..."
Nathalie suddenly blocked one of Paige's nostrils with plaster, making her scream in panic, "Ah!"
Nathalie warned, "Lie to me again, and I'll have no problem tossing you into the incinerator."
Paige whimpered, "You're a monster..."
Nathalie commanded, "Speak."
Terrified, Paige finally confessed, "If anyone's to blame, it's him for being too good-looking."
Nathalie frowned, sensing a sudden shift in the story.
Paige continued, her words jumbled and shaky, "He had this look that made people think bad thoughts."
"You know, when he was seven or eight, it was okay, but by twelve or thirteen, he grew up, and he became dangerously attractive."
