Chapter 127 Conspiracy
Kate abruptly hung up the phone and immediately blocked Simon’s new number.
On the other end of the line, Simon, who had barely said a word, felt annoyed.
Enraged, he roared and threw his phone to the ground. “D*mn b*tch!”
Simon breathed heavily, his face twisted with anger and bitterness. The phone throw worsened his injuries.
Ruth was by simon’s side, hastily soothing him, “Simon, don’t be mad. Don’t let that b*tch ruin)
health!”
However, she felt just as bitter. She picked up her phone and kept texting Kate. But when she saw the red exclamation mark on the screen a moment later. her eyes widened.
D“mn it!
Kafe has blocked me as well!
Over the next hour, Simon and Ruth tried everything they could think of to get in touch with Kate, but she quickly blocked every attempt.
Kate was firm in her decision to cut off all contact with them at this point.
“D’mn it, this b*tch!” Simon yelled in fury.
His body shook with anger. At this stage, he couldn’t deny that Kate had been setting him up all along..
She was close with Eric, and her recent moves could be seen as a complete abandonment of them.
Kate didn’t give a d*mn about them anymore.
Ruth squeezed her fists hard, her face turning pale. “Simon, what are we gonna do now?”
She felt this weird sense of fear. If Kate had abandoned us, does it mean that Erie could strike against us at any moment?
If that’s the case, do we even have a chance to survive? Just thinking about Eric, that terrifying man, sends shivers down her spine.
Simon clenched his teeth, his eyes filled with cold determination. He snorted heavily. “Even if she kicks. me out of this project, so what? I still have other means to ruin them, especially that b*tch Kate!”
His eyes blazed with fury, and a sly grin slowly crept onto his face. “In the meantime…. You better step up and show off your design skills.”
