FLAINAS POV 

I had rejected Alpha Atlas’s proposal. When I asked him if he liked Athena or Elaina, he could not provide an answer. Then, we came to an agreemein that we should get to know each other first. 

I was not ready to do that though. I just agreed, because it seemed like the right thing to do at the time, but if I wanted to be trinhful to myself, the only thing I wanted to do now was to sped more time with my parents and get to know them. 

Alpha Atlas had two chances to get me, but he had lost those chances. And, the more he rejected me, the less interested I became. Plus, it was easy to avoid him now. 

I no longer stayed in his house. I now stayed with my parents in their mansion. 

My parent’s place was as big as his with countless maids and rooms. I looked around my room. This was my place now. I looked at my bed and Emma was sleeping peacefully on it. 

Emma was given a room, but she stayed in my room and I liked it that way. I sat on the bed and began to caress her hair. As I caressed her hair, I wondered if all this would have happened if he had not ran to where my parents were when they visited Alpha Atlas 

It probably would not have and I smiled. She was my lucky charm and now that I could afford it, I promised to give her the best life ever. She deserved it. She deserved more than that. Emma has been my family from today one and I was grateful that she was in my life. 

I heaved a sigh of satisfaction as I recall how the past few days have been. My twin brother, the one and only Beta Conri, Emma and I went to see the movies. After the big welcome party at the Alpha’s mansion, my parents decided to throw another one for Emma and I with just the five of us. 

Some nights, we played games and the other nights, we watched movies. 

“Elaina. Athena.” The voice calling my names belonged to Atlas. I rushed to the window and looked down at him. 

Like I had suspected, it was Alpha Atlas. He was holding a bouquet of flowers. Immediately he saw me, he beamed and waved at me. I smiled and waved back. He held up a finger, signaling me to wait one more second. Then he dropped the flowers he brought in his car. He went into the car and I watched in anticipation to see that he had in store for me. 

To my surprise, he brought out a guitar and I smiled. “I had no idea you played the guitar laughed.

instrument,” I yelled and he 

“Well, you know now,” He said. “I will be playing the guitar and I won’t stop playing unless you come down.” 

He played the first song, then the second and then, the third. I smiled throughout the time he was what he was doing that I forgot that Emma was sleeping.

It was until she woke up and joined me that I remembered that she was actually asleep. I apologized to her for the noise, but she seemed like she was enjoying this even more than I was. She cheered Alpha Atlas and danced as he played the guitar. 

I laughed. What he was doing was too soft to be Alpha–like and I loved it. I liked this vulnerable side of him and who knows, I might accept to be his Luna. Not today though, I enjoyed watching him try to woo me. 

After he played the sixth song, I decided to go to him downstairs and Emma joined me. I took the flowers he bought for me, gave him a side hug and bade him goodbye. 

“You should have given him a kiss,” Emma said when he left and I laughed. She was not laughing with me. She kept a straight face and she looked a little displeased that I had laughed at her suggestion. She was Atlas’s biggest wingman and it was cute 

to see.

Chapter 129 

In an hour I had to go to the great hall. My parents wanted to ge me a personal maid and they wanted me to be part of the 

interview. 

I went to my room and quickly prepared for the interview. Abou six of the household maids were chosen to be interviewed. 

Of all the maids, one of them stood out for me. She knew the recipes to all my favorite food and she answered the questions thrown at her well. So, I picked her.
