Chapter 39
“I have to leave,” I told Alpha leo and he looked displeased.
“Why do you have to leave?”
“One of my friends got into a critical accident.”
“Janice?”
I shook my head. “Not Janice. Another friend of mine.”
Alpha Leo raised an eyebrow. “Janice is your only friend.”
“I made a new one some days ago and she helped me greatly. Please, I need to make sure she is okay.”
“I’m coming with you.”
I did not know how Alpha Leo would react if he knew that this new friend of mine was Ivy. I had to stop him from coming along. “Just let me go by myself”
“I can’t let you go all by yourself. It’s almost like my life depends on me coming with you.”
Then Ivy’s words came back.
Whenever he gets a new toy, he shows it off and treats it like his life depends on it. After a while, he gets bored, tosses away and gets a new toy!’
“Why?” I blurted, frustrated.
He studied my face for a while without answering my question. Then he looked away. “You can go by yourself since that is what you want.”
I felt bad immediately, but I left hurriedly to the hospital Ivy was admitted into without saying anything to him.
Ivy’s condition was so fatal that I had to stay with her and sleep over at the hospital. She had no family to call her own. Knowing what it felt like to be alone, I decided to stay with her throughout the night.
And, I made sure to send a bazillion messages to Alpha Leo apologizing to him for how I left him.
The next day, when I got back home, Alpha Leo had left the room already and I was unable to see him. I decided to call Janice and like she did yesterday when I called her in the night, she ignored my call.
I heaved a sigh of frustration and fell flat on my
bed.
My phone turned on and when I saw Ivy’s message of appreciation, I smiled.
Well, at least I had Ivy now.
If only Janice and the Alpha were more receptive of her. Sometimes she said things that made me uncomfortable, but she was generally a nice person.
Then I remembered the room she told me about. I got out of the bed, ready to leave to check the room now, but I sat back on my bed.
“I won’t go until Alpha Leo takes me there or at least gives me the permission to go to the room,” I said out loud, but my curiosity got the best of me and I finally decided to check it out.

Chapter 39
“Green door. Last rooftrof the wing,” I muttered to myself, recalling how Ivy described the room. I hoped she was right about the room being easy to spot.
After a long walk, I finally got to the end of the wing and Ivy was right. The room was truly easy to spot.
What Ivy did not tell me was that there were guards guarding the room? I was not exaggerating when I say that the guards here were ten times more than the guards guarding the gate. I could see a few warriors here too.
I bowed my head to warriors. “Greetings.”
I was Luna and even if I was taking a compulsory break put in place by the Alpha from training, I was still a warrior in training and that made the warriors before me my seniors.
“Luna Rita, what a pleasant surprise. What brings you here?”
“I want to check out this room. I’ve never been here before.”
They exchanged glances between each other. From the expressions on their faces. I could tell that they did not know how to say what they had in mind.
“Luna, we can’t let you in without the Alpha’s permission,” One of them muttered the courage to reject my request and I raised an eyebrow.
“And, why is that? Don’t I have the right to go anywhere I want to?”
“That’s definitely not it,” Another warrior chipped in. “You can check out any other parts of the mansion. But this particular -room, you’re not allowed to come in. We’re sorry. Alpha orders. We have to do our jobs.”
I understood what they meant and decided to leave. I did not want to make their job harder than it already was.
I had to ask for Alpha Leo’s permission now.
But again, why should I care? It made sense that he did not bother to show me the room. Ama and Ivy were his true lovers. I was only his contract Luna.
But, curiosity got the better of me. Or, was it jealousy?
If I wanted to be sincere with myself, it was mostly the latter. Whatever it was, I had to find a way to get into that room and see what the room was about.
So when it was nightfall and around the time, Alpha Leo came back from work, I wore a see through nightie that showed off my boobs well and sat on the bed, quietly waiting for him.
Immediately he walked in, I rushed to him, gave him a hug and took the file he was holding from him.
He c***d an eyebrow. “Anytime I come back, I usually see you on your bed already asleep. Why are you up this late.” His eyes danced to my cleavage and from the way his eyes lit up, I knew he liked what he saw.
I walked over to his working desk and kept his file before rushing back to him.
My hands moved to the button of his shirt and I began to undo them. “As your Luna, it’s my duty to help you relax after work.”
He had a flirtatious grin on his face as I peeled off his shirt from his body. “I like where this is going. Help me undo my
trousers too.”
His hands went underneath my nighty and crawled up to the level of my lower waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck and smirked.

Chapter 39
“I will. On one condition,” said coyly and his grin widened.
“Ask for anything.”
I smiled, pleased with myself. “I want to see what is behind the green door at the extreme end of this wing.”
Alpha Leo’s face darkened.
