“Ah! Beta. Thank goodness you’re here,” Sebastian said immediately and I stared, wide–eyed at him, wondering what he was thinking. 

“Is that so?” Beta Darius raised an eyebrow and Sebastian grinned. 

“Of course, Sebastian responded. He turned to look at me and owned. “Why isn’t she tortured!” 

I froze. What the hell was he saying? 

I don’t see how it should be your concern, Beta Darius. “Why are you here?” 

“You’re right. I have no business here, but she called me here. She sent a prison guard working with her to me and now that I am here, she’s asking me to get her out of here” 

1 flinched. I was screwed. The blabbermouth has screwed me up. My heart began to beat faster. 

Samejust shut the fuck up. He interrupted me and then turned back to Beta Darius. “You won’t believe what she told me. She told me to snatch Alpha Leo’s position and become the Alpha. How delulu can one be? You’re the second most powerful wolf in this pack, second to the Alpha and you would fail woefully if you tried to take his position. I like scheming, but this is just crazy. I’m glad you’re here, because I was wondering if I should just laugh and leave this place or go to the Alpha and tell him what his prisoner is asking of me.” 

My knees weakened. To save himself, the son of a gun made me a sacrifice. 

To be honest, I was not expecting this from him. But, should I be surprised? He was ready to get his father, a blood relative in trouble so he could become Alpha. 

This was typical of him. 

What surprised me was the fact that he was smart enough to use me. Apparently, I had underestimated him. “Lies,” I said weakly. There was no need though. Everything was over. But, if I was going down, I had to make sure he was joining me. 

“We are working together. He is the insider helping me. He is the one I have been withholding from you all. This is my confession.” 

“She’s only trying to drag me down with her, because I have exposed her, Sebastian said to Beta Darius who had a straight face the whole time. I was waiting for him to make an expression I needed to know what was going on in his mind. Was he buying Sebastian’s words or not? Then, Sebastian turned to me. You liar. What proof do you have? You will get punished for just not planning to kill the Alpha and Luna, but for trying to frame someone innocent. What business do I have with You’re my uncle’s whore and I don’t do whore. 

I made a fists. I wish I could pull away these bars and mess up that face of his. How dare he? 

“Like he asked, Beta Darius. “What proof do you have?” 

I snapped and pointed at Sebastian. “His phone. Check his phone. You will see our chats and calls.” 

“Our chats? I don’t even have your phone number, Sebastian scoffed and I glared at him. 

Then, you will have no problemn giving me your phone, Beta Darius said.

He frowned. “So, you don’t trust me one bit. It’s crazy to think of usurping Alpha Leo. It’s even crazier to think that a normal 

wolf will think of that? 

“So, you aren’t normal? Beta Darius asked and I smirked. Sebastian turned to me, scoffed and slapped his phone on Beta Darius‘ hand.

“We don’t even have each other’s phone numbers. Heaven knows what you were thinking when you asked him to check calls that we’ve never had.” 

After a long time of checking his phone, Beta Darius returned his phone to him. “He is clean,” He announced and beads of sweat began to form on my forehead. 

“He deleted things that will implicate him from his phone. I said. I was almost near tears. 

“So, do you have any other proof?” Beta Darius asked. 

“She can only have proof if we were walking together in the first place, Sebastian scoffed. 

“My phone. Check my phone. You’ll see our calls. My phone was taken away from me when I got arrested. Just get it from someone who has the phone and check the phone.” I looked directly at Sebastian. “He can delete things from his phone, but not from mine” 

“We’ve checked your phone before now, What do you think we will see now that we have not seen before?” 

That was true. I still had a few phone calls with Sebastian with that phone. I changed his name after Rita picked Sebastian’s call, so they probably saw my calls with Sebastian and did not know that he was his number. Just check the phone.” 

Beta Darius nodded. “I’ll do that right away.” 

“Don’t let him out of your sight though, I said, referring to Sebastian. If he was given a little time like a few seconds, he might play a trick. “Keep his phone with you.”

“You’re just crazy” Sebastian turned to the Beta. I will do whatever you ask me too, but mind you, if I turn innocent, I’ll ask for a heavy compensation. As much as I am trying to cooperate, I feel insulted by this.”
