Chapter 86 

ALPHA LEO’S POV 

“What should we name our child?” I asked my mate with a big smile on my face. She was on the bed and I was kneeling on the ground in front of her. 

“Leo jnr.” 

I laughed. “I want it to be a girl. She will be as pretty as you are.” 

“What will you name her if I give you a daughter?” 

I put on a sad smile. “I’ll name her after my mother.” 

“Deal. We will have a daughter then.” I looked up at her and hugged her. 

“If we have another daughter,” She continued. 

“We will name her after your mother,” I continued the sentence for her and we both laughed. 

I rubbed her stomach. “We should go on an honeymoon.”

Everything seemed perfect. We had less things to worry about now and I had more time. 

“We should. Tomorrow?” 

I nodded. “Tomorrow.” 

Rita’s eyes fell on my lips and she leaned closer. I did same, my eyes searching hers. 

My mind went blank and immediately, I smashed my lips on hers. 

My hands wandered through her hair and I wrapped my arms around her waist. 

Everything felt right. 

The tingles I got in my stomach, shivers that danced down my spine. I could smell her get wet and that immediately sparked a fire within my core. It made me kiss her with more intensity. 

We both disengaged from the kiss to look at each other. We were both breathing heavily. 

I smiled. 

A victorious smile that reached my eyes. I looked like I just won a lottery and Rita’s cheeks became more rosy than they already were. She smiled back at me and I pulled her closer. 

My eyes moved from her face to her body and I swallowed. “Do you want?” I asked referring to the bulge on my trousers. 

I leaned closer and Rita’s face was now as red as a tomato. 

“If you’re not comfortable, I-” 

“I’m comfortable,” Rita whispered, her breath caught in her throat. 

I grinned. My hands went up from her waist to her blouse. “Help me take off my clothes and I’ll help you take off yours.” 

Slowly, I unbuttoned her blouse as she unbuckled my belt..

Soon, we were both stark naked. 

I swept her off her feet into my arms and dropped her on the bed. 

I positioned myself above her, my eyes holding hers. “I’ll ask again, are you comfortable with this?” 

And, in response she slammed her lips against mine.

The next morning. As usual, when I woke up, my mate was still sleeping. I decided to make her something before I she woke up. So, for the first time in a long time I decided to visit the kitchen. When I got to there, the kitchen staffs were surprised. I was the last person they were expecting to see. I could not blame them though. It was my first time entering the kitchen. So, before beginning anything, I decided to watch a few cooking videos. 

I got stares from everyone present, but without paying attention to them, I went straight ahead to cook for my Luna. I took a few pointers from the head chef too, because who was I kidding? I knew nothing about cooking. 

As I cooked my mind flickered to the first time Rita and I met. 

“If you keep on drinking, you’d be an easy target for perverts,” I remember saying to her. 

Going about talking to strangers was the last thing I will ever do, but she somehow get my attention. Well, the fact that she was the first she–wolf that managed to get Fang excited since Ama contributed to my interest in her, but that was not only it. 

That night, I saw her in a very vulnerable and open state and it felt familiar. She felt like home. It was love at first sight. I had never thought that was a thing, but my cold heart warmed immediately my eyes fell on her that first time and that was enough proof that love at first sight existed. 

Then things went crazily fast and I saw myself alone with her in an hotel room- naked. 

Walking out of that room that day with Fang going crazy was the hardest thing that I have ever done, but I was glad that I was able to restrain myself. 

I laughed when I recalled how drunk Rita was and how she acted when she was drunk. 

‘You tortured me that night by leaving her untouched,‘ Fang said and I frowned, annoyed that he had invaded my thoughts, 

‘It was the other way around, Fang. Because of you, throughout that night I could barely sleep. I’m disappointed in you that you wanted me to take advantage of a she–wolf that was drunk,‘ I said, still keeping my frown. I immediately blocked Fang from accessing my thoughts and from communicating with me. 

The night I met Rita, the only think I could think of was making her mine. I wanted to be happy when she was and be sad whenever she feels that way. I wanted her to have me in my arms whenever she wanted and I wanted the same for myself- to have her in my arms whenever I wanted. 

Now, that wish of mine had been fulfilled and I was grateful. I looked at her mark on my arms. Then, my mind went back to the day I marked her as mine. The day of our mating ceremony was the best day of my life. It signified our beginning. 

“Alpha Leo, do you officially take Rita as your mate and Luna?” 

My response was, “I do.” 

“Rita, do you accept to be Alpha Leo’s mate.” 

My joy knew no bounds when she gave the same response as mine. 

“I now pronounce you wolf and she–wolf.”
