“You didn’t hurt me” I replied my voice small and soft. 

“You’re lucky I didn’t lose control yesterday morning, I would’ve killed you” he stated. 

“Lucky wouldn’t be the word I would use” I said under my breath knowing he could hear me. 

“That was stupid of you Kendal” he said bitterly. “I was so close to losing control” he said his voice returning to normal. 

“That was the point Dezmond” I replied 

“You want me to lose control? You want me to hurt you?” he asked his voice catching a deadly tone. 

“No, because I don’t think you’d hurt me even if you lost control” I replied raising my voice slightly.

“How do you know that?” I asked him urgently. 

“I know.” 

“Well that’s not enough for me Dez!” I said my voice still loud. 

“Do you want me to prove it to you? Will that be enough Kendal? Would you like me to hurt you even more just to prove a point because I won’t” he said his voice as loud as mine now, except his made me flinch and was twice as intimidating.

“Who was it?” he asked his voice made me flinch, it had taken a deadly cold tone, and it was absolutely 

frightening. 

“W–who was who?” I asked biting down on my lip, he completely pulled over, and put the truck in park, I fidgeted fiddling with the hem of my shirt. 

“Kendal” he said his voice made me shiver “I’m going to ask you this once and only once and you’re going 

to answer before I go on a killing spree” he threatened. 

“Okay” I said my voice came out lowly, I avoided his gaze, he took in a deep breath. 

“Who. Was. It?” he said each word coming out venomously. I realized he thought that I have had sex, and he was questioning who it had been with, probably so he could kill him. 

“Dez… I haven’t had sex before” I said to him, “I was–I was waiting for you” I whispered the last part, not looking at him at all. I watched his body posture slowly relax out of the corner of my eye. He inhaled deeply and then let out a long breath. After a while he was fine and he started driving again. 

“I still don’t see how that’s relevant” I mumbled knowing he would hear me. 

“Kendal, if you knew what sex was like, you’d know why I would lose control” he stated, so this just about
