Remarriage? Never And Go Away! novel Chapter 803

Chapter 803 Lifetime Regret

Gloria froze and felt a little flattered.

She was not used to his kindness. The look in her eyes gave it away.

Is this man really Jordy?

She paused and murmured, “Anything will be fine.”

Her adamancy and independence somewhat perturbed him, and he frowned.

Without another word, he strode out of the room and closed the door.

Harold lingered in the living room and waited for Jordy’s instructions.

Jordy came to the couch and took out a cigarette.

Harold was surprised because his boss rarely smoked.

Jordy took out a lighter, trying to light the cigarette, but stopped his movement and put the cigarette down.

Harold was surprised to see that. In his view, his boss was afraid the smoke would choke Miss White.

He dropped his eyes and remained silent.

Jordy started in a soft voice, “Go and get some tonics for her. The diet should be balanced. Ask Nydia about Gloria’s favorite food.”

“Will do.” Harold nodded.

With that, he headed out.

Jordy’s voice was not loud. Gloria couldn’t hear him in the bedroom.

After Harold was gone, annoyance started to tint his eyes.

The moment Gloria was stabbed, he somehow felt a stinging pain in his heart and lost his head.

One hour later.

Harold brought food over. Jordy took it and entered the bedroom.

Gloria was resting but not asleep. When the movement was heard, she opened her eyes.

Jordy placed the food on the nightstand and glanced at her. His voice was stiff and awkward. “Have something to eat and then sleep.”

The past hour had witnessed him going through an internal struggle. He was not convinced that he liked this woman.

Gloria had been the object of his disgust the entire time. He took care of her just because he didn’t

want to see a talented woman fall.

That was what he believed.

Gloria glanced at his stony face and said in a calm voice, “Thanks, I can eat by myself.”
