Sophie could only sigh. Was Odie really planning to investigate? If he did, Summerfield might be turned upside down. His bold moves would definitely alert their target, who'd likely flee at the first sign of trouble. She couldn't let Odie go on a wild goose chase.

Inside the study, Jonah had already shown Angelo and Sandy to their guest rooms. Seeing Odie return, Jonah asked, "Boss, are you sure you want them to stay here?"

"Yeah, let them stay. The Minton family has more than enough guest rooms," Odie replied. Then he instructed, "I need you to gather information on every business in Summerfield, big or small, whether we deal with them or not. List out all their connections, and make sure you miss nothing."

"Every single business and all their connections?" Jonah was stunned. Summerfield was teeming with businesses, and compiling such detailed information without missing anything could take weeks.

"Of course, I'm not expecting you to do it alone. Get all the Minton employees on it. I don't care how you do it, just get it done as quickly as possible and bring the information to me."

"Boss, you want all this to investigate the person hiding in Summerfield?" Jonah asked.

Odie nodded. "And remember, this is my investigation alone. Once you have the information, don't share it with Sophie."

"Boss, I still think it would be better to include Sophie and Colby. This is a huge task; why shouldn't they help?" Jonah was already dreading the workload.

Odie frowned. "Just do it! Why all the questions? Am I not paying you enough, or are you just too lazy?"
