I couldn't help but find Monica rather familiar as if I had seen her somewhere before this. I suddenly realized something and quickly pulled Eric with me to the garden. I caught Monica stealing glances at us from the corner of my eye.

"What's wrong?" Eric asked, looking somewhat surprised.

I hesitated before saying, "I have a feeling something's not right with Monica."

Eric nodded in agreement, saying, "I agree. I mean, the way she looked at me was rather peculiar. There was an almost predatory intensity to it. It's really strange."

It turned out that Eric felt the same way too. I immediately cut to the chase, saying, "I think Monica is probably from one of those socialite training classes, specializing in attracting wealthy individuals. It's clear from her reaction when she found out that you were married that you're her real target. I think she's just using Joshua to get closer to you."

I had already noticed that Monica's behavior toward Joshua was not that of a typical girlfriend. She would deliberately keep a distance from him. It was too bad that Joshua's judgment appeared to be clouded by amorous sentiment, rendering him oblivious to these discernible nuances.

Upon hearing what I had just said, Eric appeared slightly taken aback before asking, "What exactly is a socialite training class? And how do you know about it?"

I explained, "They're essentially training programs that mold women into the perfect image of a socialite with the aim of attracting and marrying wealthy men. They learn how to behave, how to dress, and how to use certain tactics to achieve their goal."

I deliberated for a moment before adding with a smile, "You could think of it as a program designed to groom women into becoming the wives of wealthy men."

In regards to how I knew about it, I hesitated briefly and then stated, "I came across it on Twitter and did some research on it. I never thought I would see it happen in person."

I couldn't possibly tell him that in my past life, I had seen Monica in a video that exposed those socialite training classes. It was also the reason why she looked so familiar to me.
