She sat up and picked up the water glass on the table, but instead of drinking, she slammed it heavily against the wall.
The woman's gentle face turned ferocious.
Unlike Nevaeh, she could use the two old folks from the Riddle family to harm Nevaeh, but she couldn't use them to harm Selena and Hattie.
Especially since Selena came to the capital, she hadn't gained any advantage over her!
After Manny vented his anger, he made a phone call, "Deal with that little bastard from the Riddle family!"
...
Inside the police station.
Selena sat in a chair, staring in the direction of the door.
By now, the sky had darkened completely and it was raining.
In the dim rain, a somewhat blurry figure walked from afar.
He held a jet black umbrella in his hand, and as the distance closed, that exquisite face gradually appeared, with eerie eyes that were so dark they were terrifying.
Selena's face broke into a sweet smile.
She watched as the man approached, and finally stopped in front of her.
Osvaldo took off his coat and draped it over her slender shoulders. With his delicate and translucent fingers, he buttoned her up from head to toe, wrapping her up tight.
Then, he acted and pulled her into his arms.
The police officers on the scene looked at this man, whose face and aura were indescribable, with a few seconds of stiffness.
This man's aura was just too out of place here.
Beneath that perfect, god-like face, there was something that made people's hair stand on end.
Everyone could feel it, except for she in his arms...
A group of people looked at Selena, their expressions extremely complicated.
Osvaldo's actions clearly silently conveyed to everyone that she in his arms was his precious treasure that he held dear to his heart.
Selena's smile, even on such a rainy day, couldn't conceal her sweetness. "Hattie just fell asleep, I asked Leia to watch over her, I'm going to get her."
A group of police officers saw Selena leave, leaving Osvaldo alone in the hall, and felt an urge to shout for help rise up in their hearts.
Miss Turner is so brave to be able to laugh at such a frighteningly handsome man. In the end, the bureau chief had to come forward, "Mr. Anderson, as you know about Miss Turner's situation, the victim is persistent, and she may need to stay here for one night."
Osvaldo's sinister gaze fell on him, his eyes dark as night, "Stay for one night?"
The police chief trembled in fear, afraid that the killer would slaughter all the journalists because of this statement, so he changed his words, "No, after you pay the bail, you can take Miss Turner away."
Osvaldo's eyes revealed a hint of violence.
The police chief was almost in tears, "Those journalists deliberately injured people and caused Miss Turner great psychological trauma. They will be detained for more than a month... no, three months!"
When Selena led Hattie out of the lounge, she keenly felt that the atmosphere was not quite right. Osvaldo still looked the same as when she went in, and the police on the opposite side all looked terrified. Selena raised an eyebrow, "Can't we just bail her out directly?"
Osvaldo's thin lips curled slightly, "It's all taken care of."
Then he hugged Selena's waist and walked out.
Leaving behind a group of people with dull expressions in the lobby.
Finally, when they sent Osvaldo away, the police chief breathed a sigh of relief, but then another person walked in.
The police chief saw the person's cold demeanor and said in a panic, "Mr. Turner, Miss Turner has already been taken away by Mr. Anderson."
Patrick paused, glanced around the lobby, confirmed that Selena had left, and turned to leave.

The readers' comments on the novel: Revenge On Love Rats After Rebirth by Olivia Marsh
From the beginning of the story to page 148, the plot is just going in circles about fighting. So ridiculous and waste of time to read! I have no patience for these kind stories. Be more creative if you’re planning to write a book/story!!!...
Beautiful story...
