Rewind: The Love I Left Behind novel Chapter 6

Scarlett's head snapped up, and she saw Harrison standing at the doorway. She quickly realized what was going on.

"You spiked my juice?" Her voice shook with rage. "What the hell are you trying to do, Harrison?"

Harrison smirked as he strode forward and gripped her chin.

"That's what I should be asking you. Why did you drug Hazel? Just because she accidentally broke your mother's piece, you decided to drug her? You wanted her to humiliate herself in front of everyone and lose her innocence? She's so young, Scarlett! How could you be so cruel?"

Scarlett was stunned by his words. "When did I drug Hazel?"

Harrison shoved her aside. "Don't bother denying it. I already asked Hazel. The only thing she drank today was the water you gave her. If it wasn't you, then who else?"

At that moment, Scarlett finally understood what blind favoritism truly meant. Hazel only had to say one sentence, and Harrison didn't even hesitate to condemn her.

"Crazy bastard." She let out a cold laugh and struggled to grab her phone to call an ambulance.

But Harrison snatched it away.

"What are you doing?" she snapped.
