Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 104

The White family.

Dinner that night was a disaster—everyone left the table simmering with anger.

Jade's mother was so upset she retreated to her room and didn't come out again; she probably needed her heart medication.

Even Jade herself was too mad to cause any more trouble, at least for now.

Vincent spent the whole evening brooding in silence. The kinder Tyrone was to Alicia, the angrier Vincent became.

The more Vincent stared at Alicia, the more annoyed Mina grew.

Tyrone, ever the equal-opportunity offender, had managed to irritate everyone—including Reginald and Maddox, who both wore matching scowls.

In the end, nobody was in a good mood.

No one had the energy to meddle in anyone else's business anymore.

How wonderful...

Alicia, meanwhile, managed to sneak several pieces of rice cake when no one was looking. The family chef really did know how to make those just right.

Having succeeded in making everyone else thoroughly miserable, Tyrone was finally satisfied.

He lounged back in his chair, not eating a thing himself, but relentlessly piling Alicia's plate with more food.

Alicia kept her head down, cheeks puffed out like a little hamster as she tried to keep up.

Tyrone watched her, grinning, and kept serving her more.

"I… can't eat anymore…" Alicia whispered, tugging at Tyrone's sleeve under the table.

She knew it was rude to leave food uneaten at a family gathering, but Tyrone just wouldn't stop.

Tyrone barely suppressed a laugh. "Come on, eat a bit more. Look at you—you're all skin and bones."

Alicia could only sigh. How could he be like this?

It really did seem like Tyrone's happiness depended on everyone else's misery.

True enough, whenever Tyrone was in a bad mood, he made sure to take everyone down with him.
