But there was always someone out there stirring up trouble. While Tyrone was in the kitchen, someone sent Alicia the photo of her and Vincent.

“I’ve already told Tyrone about you and Vincent going out. Just wait—he’s bound to take it out on you.”

Nicole first added Alicia on social media, then sent her the photo along with that message.

Alicia started to panic a little. Judging by the angle of the photo, there was no way she could easily explain what she and Vincent were doing.

“What’s wrong? Why are you just standing there? Come and sit down.” Tyrone noticed her hovering in the doorway and smiled.

She always wore her heart on her sleeve.

“I went to a class reunion today, but it was a setup. It wasn’t even at the place they told me. Vincent’s mom and Mina’s mom were there—they tried to give me money, asking me to forgive Mira and Henry.” Alicia finally blurted out the truth, summoning her courage.

Tyrone brought a steaming dish to the table and looked at her. “So you’re finally telling me?”

Alicia’s nose stung. So he did know after all.

If he wasn’t angry, did that mean he didn’t care?

“Vincent’s mom thought I still had feelings for him, so she called Vincent over to ask me herself. But Vincent didn’t pressure me,” Alicia said softly.

“Do you still have feelings for him?” Tyrone’s gaze was steady.

Alicia shook her head. “No… I don’t.”
