Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 261

Isn’t it true that loving someone starts with caring for them?

Maybe, little by little, she would fall for him.

She would, wouldn’t she…?

---

The Lynch Estate.

Valery stepped out of the spa, wrapped in a plush, expensive towel, her face covered in a luxurious mask, and the air scented with her favorite custom aromatherapy oils. She glanced around, eyes wide with delight, as if her excitement might spill out at any moment.

“Wow, this is how the rich live, huh? Back then, what we did couldn’t even be called bathing—more like a quick rinse. Look at this place! Why didn’t you bring me back sooner?”

She plopped herself down on the edge of the king-sized bed, shooting a playful glare at Marcus, who sat across the room lost in thought. “Honestly, I never would’ve guessed you were a trust fund kid.”

Marcus frowned, clearly losing patience. “Alright, alright, you’ve said that a dozen times already. Don’t act like you’ve never seen any of this before. This is just the basics, so please, stop acting like some country bumpkin seeing the city for the first time. Try not to embarrass our son.”

Valery bristled, feeling a bit offended. Now he thought she was an embarrassment?

But considering Marcus was a wealthy heir, she decided to let it slide.

“Easton’s a stubborn kid. How are we supposed to convince him to come back and accept his place in the family? If he refuses, there’s no way the old man will leave him the inheritance. And have you seen the state of your father lately? He doesn’t look like he’s got much time left…”

Marcus was already scheming.

The old man was getting on in years, and he needed to bring Easton back into the fold as soon as possible.

“Besides, aren’t you supposed to get a big chunk too? He’s your father—shouldn’t most of the estate go to you? If you end up with the bigger share, that means our son’s portion will surpass Tyrone’s, and our family will have the upper hand.” Valery spoke with a certainty that revealed her own calculations, already dreaming of a larger inheritance.

“You don’t get it,” Marcus snapped. “You think the Lynch family’s lawyers are idiots? When I left this family, I signed an agreement—voluntarily giving up any claim to the estate. Their money has nothing to do with me now, not a single cent!”
