Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 262

Easton studied Vincent for a moment before finally speaking. “Mr. Lawson, with all due respect, for someone of your stature to talk about ‘partnership’ with a college-bound kid like me—it hardly seems like an equal footing.”

Vincent smiled, his gaze steady. “You’re set to become one of the heirs to the Lynch Corporation. Working with you now means, in the future, we both stand to gain.”

There was no hint of subtlety in Vincent’s approach. He was very simply laying his cards on the table: he wanted to support and mentor Easton, to help him become a formidable rival to Tyrone—someone who could stand as his greatest competitor.

Vincent was a businessman. Turmoil within the Lynch Corporation meant more opportunities for Lawson & Co.—his own family’s company.

Easton met Vincent’s eyes, his tone resolute. “I’m not one of the Lynch Corporation heirs. I have nothing to do with the Lynch family. My father willingly gave up his right to inherit years ago and left. Over the past few days, I’ve dug into the Lynch Corporation’s history. I know the whole story now. The Lynch Corporation’s success has nothing to do with my father. Tyrone built everything they have today from the ground up.”

Easton had poured through the records. The Lynch Corporation, with its century-old legacy, had already lost its foundation when Maddox was still young. By the time Tyrone took over, what he inherited wasn’t just an empty shell—it was rotten to the core, drowning in debt.

The more Easton learned, the more he was struck by Tyrone’s brilliance. The man was nothing short of a genius; to lead the Lynch Corporation and the entire Lynch family back from the brink in such a short time was nothing less than extraordinary.

Whatever status the Lynch family had now in Harboridge City, it was all thanks to Tyrone. Easton didn’t have any right to fight him for something that belonged to Tyrone alone.

Marcus didn’t deserve it, and he certainly didn’t either.

“You’re still young,” Vincent said, shaking his head. “You don’t understand how crucial foundations are. If you really want to stand at the top one day, you’ll have to realize how important the Lynch Corporation is to you. Legally, you’re still entitled to an inheritance. And remember, Maddox never gave all his shares to Tyrone. He signed an agreement with the White family.”
