Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 266

Valery and Marcus finally managed to convince Easton. After much deliberation, Easton agreed to come to Harboridge City and meet the old man.

Family ties held sway here. Marcus was, after all, the old man’s only son. After wrestling with his thoughts for a long while, Easton decided it was time to come face to face.

On the day Easton returned home, the old man instructed everyone to keep Tyrone in the dark.

“Under no circumstances should Tyrone find out,” he insisted.

The butler was anxious and tense—Tyrone was, after all, living right here in Harboridge City. What if he happened to come home unexpectedly?

“He said before that he wouldn’t be coming back. As long as he doesn’t know, he won’t find out,” the old man assured him, waving away his concerns. He wanted the butler to handle things discreetly. His plan was to take advantage of Tyrone’s absence and formally acknowledge Easton as part of the Lynch family, then announce to the world that Marcus had spent the past years recovering from his accident in Seaview City, and that Easton was his legitimate son from his second marriage.

Once Easton was officially accepted into the family, even if Tyrone objected, there would be nothing he could do about it.

After all, Marcus and Valery were married, and Easton wasn’t some illegitimate child.

“Sir… are you sure about this? Once Young Master Easton is welcomed into the Lynch family, there’s really no going back. What about you and Young Master Tyrone…?” The butler sighed. He’d watched Tyrone grow up, and couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for him.

The old man really was getting more stubborn in his old age. No matter what had happened, he shouldn’t have targeted the child Alicia was carrying. That baby was Tyrone’s, after all.

“Hmph. Tyrone’s lived in this house for years, enjoying every privilege. And now he can’t tolerate having a brother?” the old man snapped.

Deep down, he didn’t truly believe Tyrone would go so far as to break all ties with him over this.

And now that Marcus and Easton were back, the old man’s heart had already shifted. Whether Tyrone came home or not, he found it hard to care as much as he once had.

The butler let out another sigh and said nothing more.
