Chapter 300 Accusing Maren Of Cheating On…….
Noticing Maren casually dining in an upscale private room, accompanied by Lucien no less, Nadia burned with
envy.
Wilbur’s reaction was even stronger, disbelief etched on his face.
Had Maren genuinely been intimate with another man?
Could it be she’d actually crossed the line with him?
He’d always brushed aside gossip surrounding Maren, certain she wasn’t someone easily swayed by men’s advances. But seeing her now–he was completely stunned.
“Maren! Hold it right there!” Wilbur shouted impulsively, his anger flaring as he marched towards them.
He approached Maren and Sawyer, reaching out to grab Maren, but Sawyer effortlessly swatted his hand away. The sharp sting startled Wilbur, though he bit back any sound of pain to protect his dignity.
After all, with Maren as the focal point, plenty of curious eyes were also fixed on him.
“Show some decency around my girlfriend,” Sawyer warned, stepping firmly between Maren and Wilbur, his gaze sharp and threatening.
Since the incident where Sawyer had disciplined Wilbur, they’d had no further interactions–today’s meeting was entirely unexpected.
Currently disguised as Lucien, Sawyer doubted Wilbur recognized him; if he had, Wilbur would never dare confront them openly.
“Maren, isn’t there something you need to tell me?” Wilbur’s voice trembled with a wounded sense of betrayal. “And what exactly do you think I owe you an explanation for?” Maren retorted coolly, comfortably leaning into Sawyer’s embrace without giving Wilbur a second look.
Frankly, she had no patience left to handle Wilbur’s tantrums.
Given the Marshall family’s watchful eyes outside, Maren and Sawyer had rehearsed their roles carefully. Their original plan was simple–maintain their charade until safely leaving the restaurant.
Wilbur’s sudden outburst complicated things, forcing them to continue this performance longer than intended.
“You shameless cheater! You’re supposed to marry me, and here you are cozying up to some random guy!” Wilbur roared, unable to bear their affectionate behavior.
Cheater? Random guy? The crowd was visibly shocked by his accusations.

Chapter 300 Accusing Maren Of Cheating On Sawyer
“Did this guy seriously just call Miss Morgan unfaithful? Of all women, she’s the last who’d betray anyone!*
“Right? And now he’s saying Miss Morgan is his fiancee? Who is this guy–completely unhinged and obsessed
out of his mind?”
“We all admire her, sure, but this guy’s shamelessness is on another level!”
“Lucien must be seething right now. Calling him ‘some random guy‘–whexactly does this fool think he is? Miss Morgan’s true boyfriend is standing right there!”
Ever since Calvert’s grand birthday celebration, everyone had heard about Maren and Lucien’s romantic saga. Regulars of this restaurant especially relished retelling their love story.
Wilbur stared at the crowd, utterly confused by their whispers. Lucien was Maren’s boyfriend? Was he missing something crucial here?
Aware that Maren had left the survival competition early, Wilbur wondered anxiously if something major had transpired during his absence.
“Maren, explain this nonsense! What’s everyone talking about?” Wilbur shouted desperately, losing patience amidst the mocking gazes.
Maren had zero interest in engaging further. She just wanted a swift exit. “There’s nothing to clarify. My personal life doesn’t concern you.”
“You’re not walking away from me!” Wilbur snapped, blocking her path. “I always thought you were innocent, but clearly you’re just a loose woman throwing yourself at rich men. He barely knows you, and he’s already had
his way-”
“You had this coming!” Sawyer kicked Wilbur in the face.
“Ouch!” Wilbur screamed as he fell to the floor, losing a couple of teeth.
