Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1011

Adam kneeled in front of Nathan as he grimaced in pain, due to the racking sensation that he felt.

He raised his head and screamed, "Nathan, you'd better kill me! Otherwise, I'll return for you and get my revenge!"

Naturally, Nathan replied indifferently, "Since you have a death wish, I'll fulfill it."

Once he wrapped up his speech, Nathan was about to send Adam to hell.

However, someone rushed over and shouted anxiously, "Please hold on a second!"

Everyone turned around and had their eyes glued to a middle-aged man who was in his late forties or early fifties.

The man adorned a complete set of butler uniform. There were several bodyguards behind him. Judging by his appearance, he was the butler of a prominent family.

Indeed, they were right. He was Don, the butler of the Black Clan.

Ever since Adam had reached Channing with a bunch of elites, Don followed suit and departed too. He was there on behalf of Mr. Black.

Once Adam dealt with Nathan, he would force Penny into submission. In other words, he would get Penny to give them her consent, forcing her hand in marriage to Mr. Black.

Evidently, he was surprised because things took a drastic turn of events. Adam failed to deal with Nathan. Instead, he had been taken into custody by Nathan.

Don rushed over immediately and begged Nathan to be merciful.

Nathan was certain that Don was the butler of the Black Clan. He could no longer hold back his laughter and asked sarcastically, "Ha! What kind of joke is this? Why are you begging me to show him mercy when you guys are the ones who are coming after me? Don, right? Why don't you justify the reason for me to let him off the hook this once?"

Usually, Don was a man with an arrogant demeanor because he was the butler of the Black Clan.

However, since Adam was on the verge of death because Nathan had gotten to the better of him, he dared not to be arrogant in front of Nathan.

Don asserted, "I believe that there must be a misunderstanding behind this particular incident. If Mr. Cross is willing to let our young master off the hook this once, we'll definitely compensate you for your loss."

In return, Nathan fell silent and gave it a thought for a few seconds as he cast a contemptuous gaze at Adam.

Eventually, he made up his mind and replied in a callous tone, "Initially, you'd be long dead by now. I have changed my mind since a representative of the Black Clan says he's willing to compensate for the loss. I'll auction this filthy life of yours if that's the case. The gain of the auction shall be used to compensate for the loss of the injured ones."
