The night had fallen, and the lights were on.
Nathan, Penny, Grace, some executives of Cross Group, and some researchers from Hope Research Centre were having a meal with Terrell.
Everyone was having fun when the restaurant owner, Ross suddenly barged in and informed anxiously, "Mr. Cross, something terrible happened. The leader of the Holt Family is here."
Ross knew that Nathan and Gerard had a fight and thought that Ben was here to hurt Nathan. As such, he was worried sick.
Penny and Grace too were nervous upon hearing that, because they thought that Ben was there to cause trouble.
Nathan and Terrell, on the other hand, remained calm. They exchanged gaze and grinned.
Nathan informed calmly, "He is finally here. Let him in."
Ross couldn't help but suggest, "Mr. Cross, should we call the police now? What if..."
Nathan laughed and replied, "There are no ifs. Also, why are you calling the police for no reason? You'd be wasting police resources. Just let Ben in."
Ross thought, Dang, you are brave. Ben is here to seek vengeance, yet you look as cool as a cucumber. I can't deal with the aftermath if anything were to happen to you, you know?
Despite the thought, there was nothing Ross could do. He simply informed the others to let Ben in.
Penny, Grace and the others were surprised to see that things didn't go as they thought it would.
Ben didn't walk in with a bunch of subordinates. In fact, he only had two people with him.
Moreover, Ben looked uncertain and scared instead of furious.
What the hell? What's going on?
Penny, Grace and the others were perplexed at the sight.
What made them drop their jaw was when Ben and his two subordinates rushed over and knelt in front of Nathan.
Everyone stared in astonishment.
Ben was on his knee and trembling with tears rolling down his cheeks. "Mr. Cross, I was wrong. I didn't know who you really are. If I had known your true identity, I would never have come to bother you, even if someone had pointed a gun at my head."
It was true.
If Ben had known that Nathan was actually the General of the North and the mythical God of War, he would not dare to find fault with Nathan even if someone had placed a knife by his throat.
When Ben first learned that Nathan was the General of the North, the former was scared to death.
