Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1181

Dexter and Alfie sprawled on the ground, trembling.

They finally understood why Nathan looked down on the Artoria family and Lance family and why he even dared to kill people from these families.

They also understood why Nathan's subordinates were so skilled and why even Connor could not defeat Nathan.

It was because Nathan was the General of the North, nicknamed the God of War!

The Artoria family and the Lance family were very powerful, but they were nothing when compared to the General.

Dexter and Alfie were not foolish either.

After offending someone as powerful as the General, apologizing and begging for mercy were their only choices.

Members of the noble families were not dumb, especially when it came to survival. If they weren't, they would have been killed ages ago.

Nathan stared at Dexter and Alfie kneeling in front of him and said coldly, "Didn't you say you want to kill my family? Why are the both of you begging for mercy now?"

When Dexter and Alfie heard his harsh words, their faces turned pale, and they broke out into a cold sweat. They could not bring themselves to say anything in response.

Nathan ordered coldly, "Raise your heads and answer me!"

Both of them reluctantly lifted their heads.

Tripping over his words, Alfie stuttered, "Ge... General, there are a lot of misunderstandings in this issue. The Lance family has made a mistake."

Nathan scoffed. "What mistake?"

Alfie answered quickly, "My cousin, Pike, shouldn't have coveted your wife's beauty or provoked you. He deserves to be beaten to death by you!"

Dexter snuck a glance at Sam's corpse not far away. He stated his stance hurriedly, "My brother, Sam, also deserved to die for offending you."

Immediately afterwards, Alfie added, "As the younger ones in the Lance family has made a mistake, it is natural for the older members of the family to apologize to you, General. I'll go back and inform my grandpa personally. I'll get him to pay you a grand apology."
