Danny was dumbfounded at this turn of events. He had not expected he would have to actually fight someone.
Then again, he had learned a bit of mixed martial arts a long time ago and he was also a lot heavier than Nathan. With these two factors in mind, it would be child's play for him to beat up a pretty boy like Nathan.
Right?
So it was that he did not hesitate in agreeing, "Heh. Don't say I didn't warn you!"
The Armani boutique staff had not thought that the situation would escalate to a fight. She hurriedly told them to take it outside.
The group of four made their way outside the store and onto the street.
Nathan had a mocking smile on his lips as he gave Danny an inviting gesture. "Bring it on!" 'Take this!" Danny yelled.
Spreading his arms wide, he lunged toward Nathan while swinging his fist.
To a layman like Penny, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. However, for someone skilled in fighting like Frida, she was completely dumbstruck at what she saw.
Not only was Danny's lower body unsteady and his body posture loose, but the fist also he swung out was limp and weak. There were a million mistakes that she could see. In fact, he was no better than a street thug!
She was visibly upset as an uneasy feeling rose in her.
Have I really been played for a fool? No, that can't be. Danny must just be acting weak to catch Nathan off guard.
However, her last shred of hope was destroyed by Nathan merely seconds later.
He easily avoided Danny's fist and raised his own, giving his pudgy face a light punch.
Wham!
Blood spurted out as Danny's nose was broken.
Nathan had already been holding back with that punch. If he had gone all out, all the bones in the other man's face would have shattered.
Danny's hand flew to his nose as he knelt on the floor, moaning in pain.
