After Nathan had lashed Joseph's head with the rose several times, Joseph was severely bruised. He rolled on the floor, wailing in pain.
Penny, as well as Joseph's underlings, were all stunned.
Even though Joseph was an ancient martial arts master, Nathan had beaten him like a child, so much so that he could only roll on the floor and wail in pain.
Nathan then glared at Joseph before he used his right knee to break the man's leg.
As Joseph shrieked in pain again, Nathan said coldly, "This is a small lesson for you. Remember not to take liberties with another person's wife, or you may end up injured badly next time."
Once Joseph's underlings recollected themselves, they hastily picked him up and ran away.
Nathan then paid the bill and left the restaurant with Penny.
As soon as Nathan and Penny left, Yvonne and her underlings emerged from a corner.
She was deep in thought for a while before saying, "Since Joseph Simon is regarded as the new top ancient martial arts master, I thought he would be able to kill Nathan Cross effortlessly. But it turns out Joseph was merely trash! Nathan beat the hell out of that so-called martial arts master!"
Her henchman, Dominic Walker, couldn't help but ask, "Ms. Westwood, Nathan Cross is tougher than we thought! He's definitely skilled in martial arts because he managed to your brother Elijah and even defeated Joseph effortlessly. What should we do?"
After a moment of silence, Yvonne sneered, "Well, he might be skilled in martial arts, but can he run faster than a bullet?"
Dominic stared at her with eyes wide open and asked, "Ms. Westwood, you're saying..."
