Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1239

There were two leaders among these pirates.

One of them had a wide face with beady eyes, looking like a ferocious shark. His name was Squale.

The other one with long hair and an eye patch. He was Cyclops.

Both of them were Odysseus' right-hand men and part of the Seven Kings of Demon's Lair.

Together with their subordinates, they had sneaked into the inland to take Nathan's life.

When Nathan boldly claimed that he would wipe out the Demon's Lair in a week and arrest Odysseus, Cyclops was consumed by rage.

Immediately, he reached down for the weapon at his waist, wanting to kill Nathan right where he was.

However, Squale pressed Cyclops' hand and whispered to him, "Don't do it in public. Chill, man. This is not the right time. We'll be doomed if we get arrested here."

Cyclops thought about it for a moment. This place was full of diners, so they might not be able to get away if they killed Nathan here.

Subsequently, he changed his mind and stared at Nathan frigidly. "Okay. I'll let him live for a little longer!"

Nathan and his family soon finished their dinner and promptly left the restaurant.

The Cross Group had been facing some challenges recently. As the chairman and the president, Penny had a lot on her plate. Therefore, she decided to head to the office instead of going home together with Nathan.

Nathan instructed Frida, "Frida, send Madam to the office. Please keep a lookout for her."

Frida replied in a low voice, "Yes, Mr.

Cross."

After that, Frida sent Penny to the office in a BMW while Nathan drove home with the rest of the family.

At the same time, a twelve-seater van drove out of the car park behind them.

Seated in the van were Squale, Cyclops and a group of pirates.

Cyclops squinted his eye and asked Squale, "Should we follow Penny or Nathan?"
