Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1256

Nathan smiled without giving any explanation.

Neelan glared at Nathan in an unfriendly manner and said coldly, "You came just at the right moment. I know you bullied Ms. Smith and refused to move out of the Smiths' house in the past. I'm warning you to never show your face around Ms. Smith ever again. Scum like you don't deserve her."

Nathan retaliated calmly, "Who do you think deserve her then?"

Neelan pointed at his nose and declared loudly, "Me of course!"

He turned towards Penny and continued, "Ms. Smith, I've liked you for a long time and have become the Major General of the North, second only to the Commander-in-chief. You will be the wife of a General if you agree to marry me.”

Everyone's gaze landed on Penny.

Anticipation was written all over Neelan's face.

He thought Penny would definitely choose him over Nathan since he was the General of the North, whilst Nathan was just a drunkard and a scoundrel.

However, Penny's stood by Nathan, and that shocked everyone. She held on to Nathan's hand, raised her head and said firmly, "General Coleman, I have to correct you one more time. Nathan and I are in love. I, Penny Smith, will only have one husband in this lifetime and that is Nathan Cross."

Not only were Neelan and his subordinates shocked, but even the onlookers also found it hard to believe!

Neelan was livid. He bellowed, "Ms. Smith, he doesn't deserve you. I'll prove it to you.”

With that, he pulled out a gun, pointed it at Nathan and yelled, "Brat, get on your knees now and admit that you have never loved her, or I'll shoot you."

Nathan sneered, "No one has ever pointed a gun at me because they're all dead after doing so. I hold a lot of respect for soldiers. The thing I hate most is seeing someone posing as a military officer to bully others. I'm giving all of you here one last chance. Turn yourselves in at the police station, or you're done for.”

A look of panic spread across Neelan's face.

He tightened his grip on the gun and screamed in rage, "Get on your knees now.
