Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1304

There was a dead silence in the room.

Even Gary couldn't help but breathe in deeply. He wasn't afraid, though. He acted that way because Nathan's ability to lie through his teeth astonished him.

"Hahahaha....”

Gary laughed so hard that he bent down as he pointed at Nathan. "You've met my grandpa before? And you're letting me live out of courtesy to him? You're not old enough to have known him. Yet, you lie about meeting my grandpa. My gosh. I am truly impressed, dude. You can lie fluently and without shame."

The spectators couldn't help but laugh at Nathan, too.

It was true that Old Master Jordan used to be one of the most powerful men in the military.

He remained as a head politician and an influence to the East faction after his retirement. Many still turned to him for their instructions.

Even to this day, Old Master Jordan held an important position within the nation.

Nathan looked like he was only in his twenties, so it was unlikely that a man that young could've met Old Master Jordan. Moreover, Nathan sounded like he was an equal to the legendary Old Master Jordan.

Everyone scoffed at Nathan. Who the hell do you think you are? As if you are worthy of being Old Master Jordan's opponent or equal?

He ignored Gary and his friends' mockery. He simply stared coolly at Gary and Hagrid before saying, "Looks like you're not going to accept my offer."

Hagrid glared at Nathan and spoke through gritted teeth. "This is not about what you are offering us. This is about Gary not showing you any mercy. You are at your deathbed, punk, and you're still acting so arrogantly."

Gary got a white handkerchief out of his pocket and cleaned his lips gracefully. Then he scoffed, "Tiger, Bear, get rid of

him.”

"Understood," replied Tiger and Bear simultaneously. Both men were muscular.

The two men grinned evilly and went after Nathan.

Gary stared at the latter before putting on a skin-deep grin. "Don't worry, punk. I will take care of your wife and daughter after you die. Hahaha."

Colin stepped forward to block Tiger's and Bear's path. "You'll have to get through me first if you want to get to my master."

Tiger roared, "Then you will die before he does!"

He threw a punch at Colin as soon as he was finished speaking.

The latter threw a punch too.

Bang!

Both men shuddered, but Colin stood still whereas Tiger stumbled a few steps back.

Tiger sounded surprised. "Not bad, dude."

Bear had already gotten close to Colin by then, and he kicked the captain. "Go to hell!"
