Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1321

Andy's usual suave and gentle demeanor was gone and in its place was a barbarian waiting to attack.

He narrowed his eyes and said unhurriedly, "I will accomplish the things my brother wasn't capable of doing, and I will carry out my grandpa's unfulfilled wishes. The first step would be to defeat you.”

It turned out that Andy pretended to be reserved usually, but he was actually a competitive and aggressive individual.

He knew that the Jordan family was going to choose a son to become the family's ambassador soon. Even Old Master Jordan had already decided to lead the East faction in his attack to overthrow Nathan as General of the North.

He wanted the Jordan family's new ambassador to take over as general.

Andy knew that his grandfather's prime candidate was his brother Lucius.

But ever since Lucius was defeated by Nathan, his reputation had declined.

So Andy knew his opportunity had finally come.

If he were able to defeat Nathan and redeem his family's honor, he would rightfully become the Jordan family's new ambassador.

He might even be able to replace Nathan as General of the North.

In the past, Nathan used to treat the Jordan family with respect.

However, the Jordans kept causing troubles and was unreasonable in their dealings lately, which enraged Nathan.

Hence, he decided to teach Andy a harsh lesson.

He said frostily, "If you want to beat me, join the army and kill the enemies near the border to gain merit first. What makes you think that being able to kill me singlehandedly means that you have truly defeated me?" "Besides, you're just an arrogant nobleman who had two to three days of training. Do you really think you can compare to veterans who have seen pools of blood and mountains of corpses? What a joke!” he said condescendingly.

Nathan's snide remarks made Andy flush with anger.

He yelled furiously, "We shall find out after a battle!"

Right after that, he moved faster than the speed of light and darted towards Nathan.

Andy's combat style resembled that of the military since he came from a military family. His movements were direct yet brutal, and they didn't involve any fancy techniques.

He relied purely on speed and strength to crush his opponent in minimal moves.

Andy launched a flurry of offensive attacks against Nathan as soon as he's within range.
