Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 1324

Meanwhile, in Riverside Garden, Channing, Nathan had just put his daughter to sleep and was ready to call it a night with Penny.

Right before going to bed, Penny suddenly remembered something and said to Nathan, "Hubby, a charity auction will be jointly hosted by the Red Cross Society and Cartier Jewelry Company tomorrow. They specially sent an invitation card to Cross Group, inviting us to attend. Will you be free to go with me?"

Nathan answered with a slight smile, "Sure. Businessmen are expected to be socially responsible, so we should give back some of our earnings to the society. Since it's a charity event, we should not miss it."

Penny responded, "Okay then, we'll go together tomorrow."

The next day, after night fell and the city lights lit up, Nathan and Penny drove to Victoria Hotel with Colin and Frida.

The charity auction that was hosted by the Red Cross Society and Cartier Jewelry

Company was held in Victoria Hotel.

Cartier Jewelry Company was going to put up a range of classic jewelry pieces for auction. All proceeds would be donated to blind children in the impoverished regions of the nation so their eyesight could be treated.

When Nathan and the others arrived at the hotel, they noticed that the outdoor parking lot by the entrance was filled with luxury cars.

It seemed that many members of the upper echelon had turned up for the charity event.

Nathan, Penny, Colin, and Frida walked into the hotel and headed for the auction venue.

VIP guests were assigned private rooms, while ordinary guests had to squeezed into the main auction room.

Nathan and Penny were given a private room since they were VIP guests.

They attended the auction with the intention of donating to underprivileged children, and they had no desire to show off their deeds. Hence, they were happy that the organizers had arranged a private room for them.

Escorted by an usher, Nathan and his group walked towards Room 009.

Suddenly, a beautiful woman can be seen heading towards their direction in the corridor. It was Fion Xavier.

Penny's expression changed when she saw Fion.
