Nathan got into a black MVP with Hailey, followed by several jeeps and cars behind them. The convoy sped off in the night, whizzing toward the direction of Fresh Fields Supermarket.
In the MVP, Hailey said to Nathan, "General, the President has ordered me to investigate Wyatt Windsor's case with you and to make sure that we're able to give him a satisfactory explanation. But you shall remain behind the scene and be discreet."
There were two key points in Hailey's statements; to be discreet and to produce a satisfactory explanation.
As a matter of fact, the Secret Service could have dealt with this matter by themselves, as it belonged to Hailey's area of responsibility. Nathan didn't have to intervene.
Besides, even if Nathan were to join in with the investigation, there was absolutely no need for him to be discreet.
In addition to the words 'satisfactory explanation', it dawned on Nathan that not only did the President want him to find out about what befell Wyatt, he also wanted him to take care of this matter to his satisfaction.
The President was asking him to avenge Wyatt Windsor!
Nathan's face remained unchanged as he said calmly, "Tell the President that I'll see to this matter and give him a satisfactory explanation."
"Understood!" Hailey nodded.
Soon, they arrived at Fresh Fields Supermarket.
It was already eleven o'clock at night. The supermarket had already closed and the backdoor of the supermarket was quiet.
At the moment, one of Hailey's men was leading the way.
Nathan and Hailey followed closely behind with the rest of their men. "Wyatt Windsor's body is hidden here?" Nathan
asked.
"Yes, I secretly ordered my trusted aide to find it, and it wasn't easy,” Hailey replied.
Nathan nodded. "Something's up with Kenneth Greene. Otherwise, with the Secret Service's ability, there's no way that they couldn't find out what happened to Wyatt Windsor for so long."
Hailey lowered her voice as she said, "What happened to Wyatt Windsor has a huge impact, and it involves a lot of people. The President urged you to be cautious in dealing with this."
"I know what to do," Nathan said.
Soon, Nathan and his men arrived at the back entrance of the supermarket's cold storage.
