Lucifer stopped smiling right away and asked furiously, "What do you mean?"
Nathan replied with a smile, "Since our nation adopts separation of military and civilian powers, I definitely can't interfere in Deputy Mayor Leeroy's action to arrest a criminal. However, Sky is not an ordinary thief because he is suspected of stealing military secrets. Hence, the military is officially taking over this area. If you wish to arrest him, please wait until the military resolves this issue.”
What? Lucifer Leeroy was shocked and furious at the same time.
He didn't expect Nathan to be nimble-witted enough to accuse Sky of stealing military secrets.
As such, the military would be given the priority to arrest and interrogate Sky. Even he as the deputy mayor had no choice but to wait.
Lucifer glared at Nathan. "Nathan, are you trying to mess with me?"
Nathan merely sneered, "Since you're messing with me behind my back, I don't mind joining in the fun."
Lucifer was pissed off. "What if I insist on arresting Sky?"
Nathan replied, "Lucifer Leeroy, don't think too highly of yourself. You might be called King of the North, but you're just a nobody to me."
Soon, Lucifer began to look murderous as he told his subordinates slowly, "My subordinates and fighters of the Leeroy family, what should we do when someone is blocking our way?"
The subordinates of the Leeroy family were mostly fighters and mercenaries.
They were loyal to the Leeroy family and didn't fear death.
Once Lucifer finished asking them, they yelled furiously in unison, "Kill! Kill! Kill!"
The mood soon became murderous amid the chant of Lucifer's subordinates.
Patrick became a little nervous; he immediately commanded, "All soldiers of Bossania, prepare to engage. Load your weapons and protect the general!"
Once Patrick had given his order, nearly 2000 soldiers picked up their submachine guns, loaded them, and aimed them at Lucifer and his men.
